So many people say they want to be "the cool parents," but I have no such delusions about myself. I'm as nerdy now as I always have been. Only my perspective has changed. I am what I am. I'm the dorky daddy.

  1. This is pretty awesome! We have given our grandson a few of these cars (ok…a lot of these little cars!) and he loves them. 🙂 I think I will look for some of the “people” to go with the cars. It looks like a great time could be had by ALL!

  2. Thanks, Becky! It really was a fun time. When I see him having so much fun down on the floor with those toys, I often can’t help but get on down there and join in with him. We have a blast.

If it helps your search, the characters are Fisher Price “Little People.” Their Little People line has everything from the Super-Friends, to Barnyard Farmer and Animals, to Astronauts and Aliens. Target and Toys R Us usually have them.

As for the Sesame Street characters, they were a gift, but I’m told they’re from the Hasbro/Playskool ‘Friends at Work’ figure line. Other ones included Construction Worker Ernie and Chef Cookie Monster.
